Bay View Location

The Soup Market just celebrated its 6th birthday in February and we have decided to join the 21st century. We now have a Facebook page. Click the link at the bottom of the page, become a fan, send us feedback, request soups, tell us what you like, what could be improved, etc. We appreciate the feedback, it's one of the best ways to improve.

We have now opened our third store in Hales Corners. We will offer the same soups as our original Bay View location, although not necessarily on the same days, as well as cookies, hot & cold sandwiches, salads, quiche, etc. Everything you'd find in Bay View will be at the new store eventually, with the exception of our "pick three" soup combo. You'll still have to visit Bay View for that. Our new store is located at 5301 South 108th Street in the space formerly occupied by Stewps. We would like to thank Mark and Kathy Schmidt for a smooth transition, and we wish them luck in their future.

The Soup Market produces 6 different soups, stews & chilis on a daily basis. With a repertoire of over 200 soups, we have plenty of varieties to please most people. Our standard three are available all the time. These include chicken noodle & chicken dumpling, both made from our own made-from-scratch chicken stock, all white meat chicken, fresh vegetables, noodles and made-from-scratch dumplings . We also do a chili that changes weekly.

The other 3 soup choices include a vegetarian selection (sometimes vegan, sometimes not), a cream soup, and a miscellaneous choice that could be an additional vegetarian soup, a chili, a stew, gumbo or broth soup. We feature gazpacho everyday in the summer months.

Have you visited our second location at The Milwaukee Public Market yet? It is called The Soup & Stock Market, and we feature a menu similar to our stores in Bay View and Hales Corners. We offer up to seven soups daily, as well as baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes, cold sandwiches, and quiche. One unique feature of this location is that we sell our stocks (chicken, beef, turkey, vegetable, lobster, fish and veal) for those of you who like to cook at home. On Fridays, we offer our grilled 3-cheese sandwich with our vegetarian tomato bisque, a classic combination.
