Welcome to The Soup Market home page. We started in February 2004 in Bay View, primarily as a wholesale producer of soups, but we added a cafe and carry-out option to attract a retail customer base as well.

Fast forward ten years, and we now have 5 retail stores, along with dozens of wholesale soup customers. We do several farmer's markets, mobile lunch events, office catering, as well as several charity events throughout the year. It has been quite a remarkable journey, to say the least. When we started, 20-30 gallons a day was a big day for us. Now, we don't break a sweat at the 200 gallon mark, and we continue to add new customers all the time, both retail and wholesale. We're bursting at the seams, and we're currently in search of a giant production kitchen to meet the demand of our growing business.

The one thing that hasn't changed in all of those years is our commitment to being the best we can at what we do. This means taking the time to simmer our stocks, made from fresh beef, turkey, chicken or veal bones, fresh vegetables and fresh herbs. We also make our own vegetable stock, fish stock and lobster stock. Making stock is truly a lost art. It takes time, knowledge and patience, but we think this is the best way to do it, and we are committed to never changing that.

We would like to say a sincere THANK YOU to all of our loyal customers who have been part of our journey. You are why we do what we do, and we really enjoy it every single day. We are very lucky to be part of something that is still really fun after 10 years.
